A Bradley Cooper loss is a film fan’s victory — just check X (formerly Twitter). Many fans took to social media to celebrate the fact that Cooper had come up empty-handed at the 2024 Golden Globes, and they made sure to back it up with all the jokes and memes they could conjure.
“Bradley Cooper’s tryhard f****ss got humbled, god is truly great,” one joked, with another quipping, “They say Bradley Cooper rehearsed 6 years to perfect the ability to lose every golden globe.” Meanwhile, there were also eagle-eyed fans who noticed that Cooper wasn’t being gracious in his defeat, with some claiming that his disappointment was written all across his face. “Bradley Cooper’s face oh he is p*ssed,” one tweeted. “Bradley Cooper has HATRED in his eyes. he’s going to go home and punch a hole in the wall. that was CRAZY,” said another.
Cooper has yet to address all the ruckus, but the ridicule directed at him isn’t all that surprising considering how many critics also thought that “Maestro” was a complete Oscar bait. But hey, it ain’t over, ’til it’s over. We still have a long awards season ahead of us, and maybe, Cooper is bound to take home at least one of the awards he’s vying for. Hang in there, Cooper.
