On October 15, Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney appeared on the “Vanderpump Rules” panel at BravoCon 2022. Together — even after their divorce was finalized — the former couple talked candidly about their feelings regarding their break-up. According to a reporter from The List, Schwartz said he was initially an “emotional rollercoaster” and “addicted to sadness.” On going public, Maloney further said, “I just wanted to live in my truth,” while Schwartz called the divorce “so painful.”
Despite the heartache, Maloney and Schwartz are doing their best to move forward with their lives. At BravoCon 2022, Maloney further told Us Weekly, “I’m definitely ready for a fresh start. That was [a] very terrifying thing, you know, making that leap and everything, and now I’m really embracing the unknown and the possibility of the unknown.” She added, “There’s some days that are harder than the others, but I just want [Tom and I] to get to a good place and be friends.” Fortunately, Schwartz revealed that he’s been feeling better, adding, “I am the number one champion for Katie,” per a reporter from The List.
