“Fan girl mode was fully unlocked when I saw [Lionel Messi] – obviously the GOAT, but also so kind and generous with his energy,” Camila Cabello captioned a set of photos on July 26, 2023, at a soccer match in Miami.

The singer is pictured wearing a Messi jersey, tastefully knotted to showcase her tiny waist. The Argentinean sport star chats to Cabello in the stands in one snap. She also poses with David Beckham, who she thanks in her post, along with Victoria Beckham.

Though she potentially caused a storm by calling Lionel Messi the GOAT (greatest of all time) when some supporters place that crown on Cristiano Ronaldo’s head, her last post after a soccer match proved to be so contentious she deleted them.

Cabello tweeted about the “rude” soccer supporters who sang their clubs’ anthem over her performance at the Union of European Football Associations’ 2022 Champions League Final performance last May.
