Carrie James Is Sean Murray’s ‘Incredible’ Wife Who Heads the Business Relationship Alliance

While he has found success as an actor, Sean Murray’s wife, Carrie James, has devoted her career to empowering women who aspire to be entrepreneurs. The “NCIS” star’s partner also manages to do it while being an “incredible” wife and mother of two.

Sean Murray is an actor best known as Timothy McGee on “NCIS”; however, offscreen, he is also a father of two and a husband. The Hollywood star and his wife have celebrated over a decade of marriage, during which they welcomed two beautiful children.

For years, Carrie James has balanced raising her family and being an “incredible” wife while running her company, which fosters support and a sense of community for female and non-binary entrepreneurs.

James kickstarted her career by working as a court advocate after becoming the first person in her family to graduate college with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Domestic Violence from San Francisco State University.

During her time as a court advocate, the “NCIS” star’s wife spent her time working with victims and helping them understand their rights and the judicial system. James later furthered her education and obtained a Master’s Degree from Antioch University with an emphasis in Social Justice.

From there, James became a teacher in the Los Angeles education system, an Administrator, and with hard work and passion — instilled in her by her mother — a principal.

After welcoming their daughter and learning they were expecting a second child, Sean Murray and his wife bought their Southern California home in the early 2000s.

James decided to become an entrepreneur in 2011 when she started a school, setting another record as the first person in her family to own a business. However, after finding a circle of friends who also dubbed themselves “mompreneurs,” the impressive group of women decided to found BRA – Business Relationship Alliance. Their company website reads:

“Our mission is to foster a community where we uplift female and non-binary entrepreneurs and provide support, resources, and opportunities for connection in an inclusive space where you are seen, respected, and accepted […]. The glass ceiling is broken; the sky is the limit.”

At the time of writing, James — born on February 7 — had amassed nearly 2,000 followers on Instagram, and her 1,300 plus posts captured her life as a working mother and wife.

In 2020, Murray turned to social media to celebrate his wife in honor of Mother’s Day and sweetly shared, “Happy Mother’s Day to my incredible wife and all the moms out there!”

James’ husband also took to social media to commemorate his daughter joining him on the set of “NCIS” in an Instagram post that read, “I am pleased to introduce my daughter, Cay Ryan Murray, into the on-screen world of NCIS! Cay guest stars in our upcoming May 2 episode and I couldn’t be more proud =) #NCIS.”

The actor spent the following decade designing it and revealed, “There is definitely something about putting roots down because I didn’t have that as a kid […]. So there is a part of me that’s like, ‘You got your place, your space, your house with your family. Make it yours.'”
