Charo Is ‘Dropdead Gorgeous’ at 72 Showing Off Her Curves in Skimpy Red Dress

Legendary guitarist and actress Charo turned heads at The New York Pops 40th Birthday Gala with her timeless beauty. Fans couldn’t help but gush about her look at 72.

Charo stunned in a glittering red mini-dress with a plunging neckline, highlighting her curvy figure and toned legs. A matching red band covered the length of her arms. Her blonder voluminous hair cascaded down her shoulders in a tied high ponytail.

The Spanish-American songstress was among the elite list of guest artists who performed at Carnegie Hall, New York, honoring Barry Manilow.

One user asked, “Where is your fountain of youth? You are still as dropdead gorgeous as you were in the 70s what’s your secret?”

The musician’s age became controversial throughout her career when she insisted on her birthdate being ten years later than the media reported.

But regardless of how old she is now, one thing’s for sure. Charo made sure to keep herself healthy and active.

How did she stay in shape? She recommended keeping the heart pumping for excellent circulation. She said of her secret:

“It’s everybody’s question. The bottom line is this is my secret: exercise, exercise. Cut the gluten and the fries.”

Additionally, Charo gave herself a constant supply of Vitamin C from three oranges a day. Using her Instagram account to share recipes and tips, she revealed her planted kumquat and lemon trees from her backyard as another source of her daily dose of healthy food.

For Charo, age was just a number. She proved so by participating in the 24th season of “Dancing With the Stars,” with Keo Motsepe as her dance partner. Despite her short stint after an early elimination, she remained optimistic about her experience. She said:

“I feel like I’ve got a million dollars right now in my wallet. I enjoy, very much, the show.”

And Charo has not slowed down at all. She continues to do what she loves the most: performing on stage in front of her beloved fans. In 2020, the singer released “Fantastico,” a series of dance tracks to “help ease pandemic stress” through dancing.
