Chris Harrison is finally ready to spill it all. During the episode of his podcast, titled “It’s Time We Talk,” Harrison addressed his initial silence after everything came crashing down. “I have not spoken publicly since I left the ‘Bachelor’ franchise,” shared Harrison (per The Hollywood Reporter). “One point I was trying to make [during his conversation with Rachel Lindsay] and did not make eloquently, is people need time to think and to process.”

Harrison also called out “Bachelor” cast members who he feels tried to use his downfall to their advantage. He claimed that certain cast members were gunning for his job amid the backlash. “I was also astonished at how many people had their hand out,” he said. “Wanted to get paid for this. Taking advantage of this situation. It’s a bizarre thing.”

During the episode, Harrison didn’t mention the names of those he was referring to. However, a number of former “Bachelor” contestants, including Jubilee Sharpe and Onyeka Ehie, spoke out against Harrison’s comments then (via Insider). Twenty-five BIPOC contestants from Season 25 also released a statement through Instagram to “denounce any defense of racism” in 2021.
