Christina Ricci in a Checkered Jumpsuit Is ‘Proof That There Is Perfection in Person’

Christina Ricci plays the hard-to-love Misty Quigley in the SHOWTIME TV series, “Yellowjackets.” With the second season being rolled out, the cast was invited to a Paley Fest event for which Ricci wore the chic outfit seen on her Instagram.

Christina Ricci shared a picture of herself over a day ago, looking back at what she had worn to a Paley Fest media event a few nights ago. The Paley Fest is a recognized space where prominent people and companies give first-person information about their projects.

Ricci stood on a rooftop and at what appeared as a pool’s edge in the photo. She wore a pink-and-black strapless patterned jumpsuit, sported a set of pearly jewelry around her neck, and a silver bracelet on her wrist. The actress wore dark mascara and silver eye shadow that blended well with her dark hair.

As seen in the caption and reiterated by Daily Mail, the former child star was styled by Cristina Ehrlich. Ricci also had Allan Avendaño on makeup duty.

The actress’s hair was done by her husband, Mark Hampton, who also suited up for the event to support his wife. Ricci was on stage with her fellow “Yellowjackets” co-stars and three of the show’s producers for a post-episode screening and questions-and-answers session.

Ricci’s loving fans were in awe of the look she donned at the media event. Most of her supporters could not find a hint of a flaw and aired their praise in the comment section.

“This woman is proof that there is perfection in person,” someone wrote under Ricci’s post. Another fan said she is too perfect, and a third said that the actress looks great in everything.

“Yellowjackets” is a SHOWTIME TV series that tells a twisted horror-filled tale about a high school girls’ soccer team. While flying to the biggest match of their young lives, the group experienced a horrific plane crash, killing many and leaving survivors with sickening options for survival.

Ricci plays the adult version of Misty Quigley in the series, while Samantha Hanratty portrays the same character in her teenage years. Speaking about the task of balancing filming and motherhood ahead of season two, the senior portrayer of Misty said:

“It has been really fun. I’ve been very busy, which is great, and also hard with family and children and working all that out with a newborn. But it’s great; it was really good.”

When speaking to Rolling Stone about her sometimes loved and often despised character, Ricci noted a few things. She said that Misty knows she is a misfit and can not connect with the other characters. Ricci added that the character always finds a way to say and do the wrong thing.

The actress continued to note that Misty is aware of her shortcomings and how that sparked animosity between her and the rest of the girls. This self-awareness makes the character resentful but does not stop her icy persona.
