‘Cinderella’s Lesley Ann Warren Found Love at 1st Sight after 1st Husband Went to Barbra Streisand – She Stuns at 76 Now

Lesley Ann Warren is known worldwide for her epic portrayal as the titular character of the 1965 television musical production of “Cinderella.” At age 76, Warren still looks ageless and as stunning as ever.

Shortly after her first husband left her to be in the company of famous singer and actress Barbra Streisand, Warren got a second chance at love and found it with her new partner. After finding love again, she gave details about where she stands with Streisand currently.

The gorgeous actress has been recently praised for how great she looks at her age. On April 16, Warren posted a picture on Instagram where she was seen posing for a photo with friend and vocal coach Bob Garrett.

The photograph gave a shoutout to a dear friend who had created a documentary that she had just gone to see. As she posted about her attendance at the documentary’s premiere, fans of the star bombarded her with an influx of compliments.

Warren’s supporters could not believe how beautiful she had stayed after all these years. One Instagram user commented on her still gorgeous as-ever appearance:

“You look gorgeous, Lesley!”

Many still think of her from her “Cinderella” days when she was just 18 years old and were pleasantly surprised to see Warren looking as though she had not aged one bit. Another Instagrammer found her ageless beauty particularly astounding:

“My Goodness…She just doesn’t age. Cinderella.”

A lot of the “A Night in Heaven’s” fans are not afraid to show Warren an abundance of love, and many made a point to wish the star well, in addition to complimenting her physicality. Another commentator added:

“You’re so beautiful! Love the poster [and] I’m glad you had a wonderful time! Love and light! Hugs.”

In 1967, Warren married former hair and make-up stylist turned film producer Jon Peters. Before divorcing in 1975, the ex-couple had a son – Christopher Peters, who, like his parents, started a career in the entertainment industry as an actor and producer.

When Warren became a mother, she was absolutely thrilled. During a Q&A session with Closer magazine, she disclosed her feelings on motherhood:

“I was madly in love with [Christopher] in utero, and that’s remained the same. I can’t imagine my life without him. [Though] it was challenging because I was a single mother working out logistics, I’m so proud to be his mom [and] we’re extremely close. He has a wonderful wife [whom] I love [but] they don’t want to have [kids], which is a drag because I love babies!”

During the time Peters was married to Warren, he had met Streisand in 1973 when he was asked to create a wig for her comedy “For Pete’s Sake.” Streisand and Peters hit it off immediately, and reportedly, prior to their encounter, Peters had expressed to several people that he wanted to cut Streisand’s hair so badly that he was willing to work for free.

After spotting a hair-do at a party that the “Yentl” talent really liked, she was given Peters’ contact details, and the meeting was booked shortly after. The time was set, although Streisand arrived an hour late to the appointment. A frustrated Peters had just decided to leave when the star appeared, and he found himself immediately enthralled with her presence.

Warren got her groove back after her divorce and was largely unapologetic about it.

A romantic relationship that was described as “cosmic” by Streisand herself began to blossom between the pair. The duo even went on to have a collaborative relationship outside of a romantic one and worked together on productions like the 1976 remake of “A Star Is Born.”

Peters had such a deep love for Streisand to the point where her name still gets brought up by him in recent interviews today. In a 2017 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Peters shared that she remains the love of his life:

“She was the most captivating, interesting, [and] creative person I have ever met. I will always owe her for giving me the life that I’ve had.”

Several reports stipulate that Peters had allegedly started dating Streisand while he was still married to Warren. When asked about her relationship with Streisand after the scandal broke, Warren said:

“She was with [him] for ten years and [even] helped raise Christopher, and her son was at my house. She [is aware] that I’m a gigantic fan [and I even] went to see her when I was sixteen but didn’t get to meet her until she started dating Jon. We [had] talked about our children and [the way in which] we hoped the other would respectfully help [raise them, and] I have tremendous love and respect for her.”

Despite the belief and accounts of many claiming that Peters was not divorced before dating Streisand, Warren maintains that she had left him first. She said that she had to leave the relationship to take care of herself and revealed that in an effort to keep a friendship, she and Streisand make it a point not to broach specific discussion topics in conversations.

After divorcing Peters, Warren was free to live the life she wanted, and her career continued to soar. Being 30 years old at the time, she became part of a club act in Los Angeles, and following that, she was the primary contender to be the opening act for the Frank Sinatra-Dean Martin concert tour.

She debuted her Broadway comeback in “Luv’s” rock adaptation and started letting her hair loose by enjoying nights out at clubs and then having moments relaxing with a cup of coffee. Warren got her groove back after her divorce and was largely unapologetic about it.

By the time 2000 rolled around, Warren found her second chance at love in her current husband of 23 years, American actor and assistant director Ron Taft. The happy couple met each other in a hair salon, and Warren fondly remembers the love at first sight-encounter:

He asked if he could call me, and I never do this with people I don’t know, but I said yes. It was love at first sight.”

Taft and Warren have been inseparable ever since they first met. According to the “Pure Country” talent, the difference between her two marriages could not be anymore vastly distinct:

“[This marriage] couldn’t be more diametrically opposed. I am not who I was when I got married at 20, and there’s so much that I don’t want in my life anymore that that marriage encapsulated. It’s utterly different, and I worked on having this for a long time.”

She and her husband celebrated their 23rd anniversary in January last year. Warren was all too keen to post a loving tribute to her husband on their special day with a heartfelt caption that read:

“Happy anniversary to us!!! I love you so much, the most romantic man in the whole world. My heart, [and] my husband.”

Warren and Taft remain very happy in love together and now celebrate 24 years of marital bliss. Despite the scandalous love triangle between herself, Streisand, and Peters, Warren is still friends with Streisand and holds no ill feelings toward her.
