Wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista’s career has gone from strength to strength, but his romantic life hasn’t been as successful, judging from his three divorces.

Dave Bautista went from being a wrestling champion to a successful actor, and his career is booming. His track record in the love charts hasn’t been as stellar.

Born in Washing, D.C., on January 18, 1969, Dave Bautista had a hard childhood beset by poverty. At the age of 13, Dave admits he was on his way to becoming a criminal, and by 17, he was working as a bouncer in a nightclub. What saved him was falling in love with wrestling in high school.

He signed with the WWF in 2000 and went on to win the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice. In 2006, Dave started making the transition into film and television and now has an impressive list of credits as an actor.

Among the projects he’s worked on is the 007 2015 film, “Spectre,” in which he played the villain, “Blade Runner 2049,” and the remake of “Dune,” in which he plays Glossu Raban. His most famous role is as the Marvel character Drax the Destroyer, which he has portrayed in six films.

Unfortunately, Dave’s romantic life hasn’t been as successful as his wrestling or acting career. The man known in the ring as “The Animal” has been married three times, divorced three times, and has three children.

Dave Bautista’s First Marriage Fell Apart When His Wrestling Career Started to Take Off

Dave’s first marriage was to Glenda Bautista in 1990, when he was just 21. The couple welcomed their daughter Keilani in 1991 and another daughter, Athena, in 1992. When Dave’s career started to take off, the relationship began to founder.

The couple divorced after eight years of marriage, and Glenda has since moved on and is now married to Chris Baker, the creative director at Zen Studios. Glenda is a successful businesswoman. She holds an MBA and is the Senior Director of Ad Products at Hearst Publishing.

Despite the split, Glenda and Dave are loving parents to their daughters. Their oldest daughter Keilani is married and has made them grandparents to two sweet little boys, Aiden and Jacob.

Keilani keeps her life and her family out of the limelight, but the same isn’t true of her younger sister Athena. Athena has given her parents quite a few headaches and became famous for a sex tape. She has a strong presence on social media and a glamorous image.

They divorced in 2006, but Dave stood by Angie while she battled ovarian cancer. The actor made a video to raise awareness about ovarian cancer. Angie went into remission, and they welcomed their son Oliver through in vitro fertilization in 2007 after their divorce was final.

The woman who holds his heart is someone he met on set and who understands and accepts the demands and limitations his work places on his personal life.

Dave Bautista’s Third Wife Was 20 Years His Junior

Sarah Jade, who was described as his long-term girlfriend. Sarah Jade was beautiful and twenty years the actor’s junior.

The wedding was attended by Dave’s friends, including the cast of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise. The couple had no children together but shared a love of dogs.

In 2019, Dave and Sarah Jade divorced. Neither spoke about the breakup or what led to the divorce, but it may well be a reprise of Dave’s last two failed marriages: putting his career ahead of his marriage.

Dave Bautista Seems to Have Found Love Again

Since his divorce from Sarah Jade, Dave has kept his love life out of the public eye. Even though he has dated several women publicly between his marriages, he’s keeping it under wraps this time.

In 2021, he admitted he had been dating a mysterious woman for two years. The woman who holds his heart is someone he met on set and understands and accepts the demands and limitations his work places on his personal life.

It may be that this time around, Dave will get it right, especially if the lucky lady in his life is understanding and willing to accept her place in his busy life.
