Reports say she died in a tragic car accident on August 9, 2023, at the Hamer Toyota dealership in the San Fernando Valley, California. An 84-year-old woman was driving her Toyota RAV4 when it crashed into the dealership center.

The car caused major damage and collided with several people, including 23- and 25-year-old employees who suffered non-threatening injuries. The employees were hospitalized and expected to make a full recovery.

Calito was a customer at the dealership when the crash occurred. The car hit the nanny and dragged her for 20 feet before she could be removed under it. A nurse who was at the scene started performing CPR on Calito before the medical team arrived.

Calito was then rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but she later died. No arrests have been made, and the car’s driver wasn’t injured. Reports say the driver hit the gas instead of the brakes, causing the car to crash into the customer reception area and leading to the death of Calito.
