Dennis Noris’s first roles were in 1990 and 1991 when he starred in “Total Recall” and “Terminator 2: Judgement Day,” respectively. After that, he tugged at the heartstrings of TV lovers following the fascinating role of a DEA agent in 2008’s “Breaking Bad.”

Norris, born on April 8, 1963, in South Bend, Indiana, is also a producer. Apart from his incredible acting skills, he is a family-oriented man— his marriage to his wife, Bridget Norris, has produced five kids.

DEAN NORRIS’S BEST MOVIES

Norris’s resume is quite impressive. The actor has appeared in over fifty films and numerous TV shows. He is quite the busy bee and has not gone unrecognized by fans.

According to the Rotten Tomatoes website, some of his best works have been highly rated, including “Lethal Weapon,” which takes first place on IMDB ratings, sitting in first place with a score of 7.6/10. This 1989 film also featured big names like Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, and Joe Pesci.

Norris’s second-highest-rated film is “Remember,” earning 7.4/10. In this jaw-dropping movie, an older man who has dementia tries to haunt the person responsible for the death of his family.

Movie number three is none other than “Without Limits,” with an IMDB score point of 7.2/10 on IMDB. Its theme centers on the real-life experiences of a renowned runner, Steve Prefontaine. Billy Crudup played the lead character, while Donald Sutherland was Bill Bowerman, his coach.

Tailing closely is “The Last Seduction,” with a 7/10 score. This 1994 Steve Barancik film featured Linda Fiorentino as Bridget Gregory, who steals her husband’s drug money and plots her next move in a small town. The movie won over five awards and nominations.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

” takes the final prize as movie number five. Its score on IMDB is 6.2/10. This is a nerve-wracking horror film based on a Halloween plot. Currently, Norris is working on the second installment of this 2019 suspense-filled film.

DEAN NORRIS’S BIG BREAK ON TV AS HANK SCHRADER IN “BREAKING BAD”

Norris’s acting career began in the 1990s, but until his feature as Hank Schrader, brother-in-law to Walter White, he scored more points with TV viewers, making it his career-defining role.

While recounting how he got the role, the actor revealed that he was hopeful of getting into another show. But after the producers changed the lead, he did not fit in.

Four months after being devastated by not appearing on what he felt was a good show, Norris received the call that gave him a new reputation. He read through the script, met with the people in charge, and the rest is history!

In 2020, the actor reprised his role in the series and was excited to work with old faces. Norris admitted that it was a “whole lot of fun,” adding that he is in awe of the new scripts. According to him:

Following his fame after “Breaking Bad,” Norris never relented being his best version in subsequent films. He has been steady, giving viewers top-notch entertainment in mystery, politics, and comedy-dramas.

In 2013, he featured in the Sci-fi series “Under the Dome,” acting alongside Nicholas Strong, Aisha Hinds, and Karla Crome. Unfortunately, the show got canceled in 2015.

Norris later appeared in other TV shows, including “Sons of Liberty,” “Scandal,” and “The Book of Henry,” “Superstore,” “Claws,” and “United States of Al.”
