The events leading to the wedding day kicked off on August 24, 2023, with a welcome party at a stunning cliffside estate in Carmel. Erbert planned the events with the assistance of Simple Troy Lifestyle + Events.

Hough said the welcome party was like a fairytale because it took place in one of the most breathtaking places. The day after the welcome party was held, Hough and Erbert hosted a garden rehearsal dinner.

It was attended by family members. The dinner also turned into a wedding party where the couple’s kin gave speeches to celebrate the love birds. The series of events’ peak was the wedding day, where Hough and Erbert exchanged personal and traditional vows.

Hough’s brother-in-law officiated the ceremony. The groom was gorgeous in a Tom Ford suit. Erbert looked stunning in a custom duchess satin gown designed by Georgina Chapman from Marchesa. She accessorized the gown with a long veil, blusher, and jewelry by Ring Concierge.

Erbert said the wedding was in a redwood forest. The pair got married in front of a huge tree surrounded by smaller ones. The smaller trees dropped seeds that were planted and looked like an army of kids protecting their mom.

Hough’s plans worked out as he popped the question to a stunned Erbert at their home. He got on one knee and asked the 28-year-old to marry him.

The bride loved this symbolism as she felt like the two were also planting seeds to grow their own family. Erbert walked down the aisle to a unique rendition of “Unconditional” by Richard Walters, which the singer rewrote and recorded specifically for this wedding.

The couple’s wedding bands and the bride’s custom diamond engagement ring were by Paris Jewellers. After Hough and Erbert exchanged vows, they went to their reception, which was held in a 100-year-old barn decorated with Signature chandeliers.

The flowers in the barn were by In Blume, and stationery by Minted. The performance was by Jordan Kahn Music Company, and Theoni provided rentals for celebrations. The nature lovers, who met in 2014, said their wedding was beautiful and incredibly romantic.

Hough and Erbert met in 2014 and started dating in 2015. After eight years of dating, the couple have finally wedded. Hough proposed to Erbert in their home, which he called “the most special place” for them.
