In the past, when asked if he would ever settle down, Spade’s answer was just as vague as ever. He said: “It’s very hard for me, for various reasons, which we won’t get into,” but he also admitted that he was trying to do that.

Of course, this is not something he allows himself to express in his comedy because he believes that his fans don’t want to know about that. “If I say, ‘Yeah, I’m seeing someone, and it’s going well,’ they just go, ugh,” he elaborated in 2019. “I don’t think that’s what they want to hear.”

WHO IS JILLIAN GRACE?

Spade, best known for his work on “Saturday Night Live,” has never been married to anyone. However, he is no monk; he has been linked to several famous actresses, including Heather Locklear, Lara Flynn Boyle, Julie Bowen, Teri Hatcher, and Naya Rivera.

One of them once tagged him “undateable,” and many others have denied their relationship with him existed; however, the proofs and stories abound.

At some point, he was dating Jillian Grace, a former “Playboy” model born on December 29, 1985, in Arkansas but grew up in Washington, Missouri.

Her relationship with Spade lasted only a few months, but it led to the birth of their daughter Harper in 2008. To date, she remains the only child of the talented comic and the infallible evidence of their short stint together.

WHAT DID DAVID SPADE SAY ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER?

Spade keeps his daughter out of the public eye, but now and then, he shares a glimpse of his life as a father with fans on social media. He once admitted that becoming a father made him break off communication with his dad.

All that changed after Spade became a father and realized just how unfair his father’s treatment had been. He once said:

“I have a daughter now, and she came out of a situation with a girl I was dating, and it was not planned, and I get angry because my brothers and I were planned. Now, I’m so happy that I have a daughter, and she’s the best thing in my life, but I couldn’t picture my daughter being sick and calling me and me not answering.”

His resentment of his dad rose the more time he spent with his daughter, and eventually, Spade stopped talking to the man.
