The “50 First Dates” actress explained that instead of giving her two daughters physical gifts, she takes them traveling every year around Christmastime. Although she hasn’t banned giving gifts in her household, she prefers to make memories with her kids as she considers those are better.

She was very private about her first pregnancy but made the second public knowledge to avoid nosiness.

She was even more assured of her idea ever since they spent Christmas at home one year during the lockdown. Since they couldn’t travel, she bought her daughters gifts instead and had a traditional Christmas. That year she realized she much prefers her version of the holiday.

Drew Barrymore’s 2 Kids Make Her Happy

In 2016, Drew divorced her then-husband, Will Kopelman. The split was difficult for her, but the two later made amends and are now on good terms. Luckily, a good thing that came out of the marriage was the two little girls Will and Drew share.

In essence, the fact that her job keeps her away from her children so often has made her reevaluate her priorities.
