Drug dealing real estate agent ‘tortured by King of Castle Hill’

“If you think about calling triple zero, I don’t go to jail. I go straight to the mental asylum, and I get five years, and I will be out. I don’t care,” Hazrati allegedly told Pillay, the police document claims.

Pillay told police he was “scared s —less” but managed to sprint from the home and bang on a door for help before calling police. Hazrati was charged with reckless wounding and detaining Pillay – he has not yet faced trial.

“It was like full-blown torture,” Pillay told police in his statement.

Less than two months later, the battered real estate agent was allegedly spotted by police in his white Mercedes at a Redfern drug haunt.

“Police informed [Pillay] the area was well known for drug supply, [to] which he replied ‘that’s disgusting’,” the police fact sheet reads.

Pillay appeared very nervous, the police court document claims, and despite his distaste for the drug trade, they realised he was on parole for dealing. An ice pipe was also allegedly discovered sticking out of the driver’s side door.

The police began pulling Pillay’s car apart and allegedly found almost 50 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of heroin. Inside the ziplock bags, police allegedly found a business card for his community corrections office, where Pillay reports while on parole.

Pillay allegedly had four phones, speaking into one as the police picked through his belongings.

The former agent was ultimately arrested and taken to Mascot Police Station to be charged. Police went through his phone and allegedly found a barrage of texts to a friend.

“Bro, I’m being searched and arrest (sic),” one said. “I’m going to jail … Come down please and say it was urs (sic).”

“I will pay for everything.”

Pillay was charged with drug supply and suspected stolen goods and has remained in custody since his arrest in January.

He will ask for release again in the coming weeks and has not yet entered pleas to the charges against him.
