Dying Wife Asks Husband’s Permission to Fulfill Her Final Wish—to Sleep with Her Ex One Last Time

The man’s wife asked for something that left her husband livid. He went on Reddit hoping to get advice on handling the situation without looking like the bad guy for refusing his dying wife’s last wish.

The Reddit user throwawayforeife initially posted his story on the platform on January 29, 222, before the post was removed by reshared on February 3, 2022, by metallurgyhelp. In the post, throwawayforeife revealed that he and his wife had been together for ten years.

The couple discovered the wife had a terminal disease and was only expected to be alive for a maximum of nine months. The poster confessed that he was devastated and couldn’t recall a life without her in it.

He also struggled with what to do when she was gone but did his best to make her last days alive good. The Reddit user wanted to grant his wife anything she wished as doctors said in four to five months, she’d require a wheelchair.

In the eighth month, she was expected to be bedridden as she progressed through the last weeks of her life. The worst-case scenario was that she could decline quicker, but she sat him down at one point, noting that she had a last request.

The man’s wife was shocked when she revealed that she wished to sleep with a previous partner. The woman explained that the man she wanted to have sex with was her “most physically compatible” and “satisfying lover.”

His wife told him that sex wasn’t just physical but was emotionally fulfilling with him. Now throwawayforeife was confused about what to do because denying his wife’s wish felt like it would only be about his ego, or he could let her sleep with the other man she felt was better.
