She’s the beloved Eastenders star best known for playing firm fan favourite Kim Fox.
But Tameka Empson won’t be seen in the Queen Vic or Albert Square for a while after confirming her absence from the long running BBC soap with an appearance on The One Show on Monday night.
And now, after Tameka opened up about her new stage show touring the country, fans of Emmerdale and The Masked Singer are convinced the star is behind one of this series’ costumed cast.

On Monday night, Tameka joined BBC One’s The One Show to talk about her upcoming Windrush ska musical The Big Life.
The Eastender co-wrote and stars in the musical which she says is based on her own personal experiences of the Windrush generation through her mother, who came to the UK and settled in North London.
The show was first put on stage over 10 years ago and is now coming back to the Stratford Theatre for another run.
Tameka’s appearance on The One Show comes just a day after the star was spotted sitting in the audience for ITV1’s Dancing on Ice.
And coincidentally – or maybe not – a guest from The Masked Singer, ‘Air Fryer’, was also invited onto the show and took to the ice to give guests a hint about their identity, introduced by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern.
Now that fans know Tameka is leaving Emmerdale for 3 months, is starring in a musical – so can obviously sing – and was seen in the Dancing On Ice audience on the same day Air Fryer was there, it’s all too much and they are convinced it means she is Air Fryer on The Masked Singer.
