Elliot Kingsley Did Not Get Along with Ozzy Osbourne – Facts about Him

Elliot Kingsley came into Ozzy Osbourne’s life when his mother married the heavy metal singer. Elliot grew up without knowing his biological father and did not have a great relationship with his stepfather either, who said he wished he had treated Elliot better when he was a little boy.

When Elliot’s mother, Thelma Mayfair, married the legendary heavy rock singer, Elliot was a five-year-old with no relationship with his biological father, whom he had only seen once.

However, Elliot and Ozzy did not have a warm father-son relationship either, which was the case with Ozzy and his other children. Ozzy revealed he was a heavy drinker and regretted multiple things throughout his life, including how he treated Elliot and his mother.

Elliot Kingsley Was Abandoned by His Biological Father

Elliot was born in 1966 and was a young boy when his father left him and his mother — too young to know anything about his biological dad. When his mother married Ozzy in 1971, the English singer adopted Elliot. However, the two never got along. Ozzy said:

“He was a good kid, but for some reason, we never got on. You know, some people just don’t hit if off with their children. That was me and Elliot.”

When Elliot grew older, Ozzy recalled Elliot telling him that he had seen his biological father once in a pub. However, he couldn’t bring himself to say anything, which Ozzy called “terribly sad.”

Nine months after Elliot’s mother and stepfather married, his first half-sibling was born, Jessica Osbourne. Elliot’s stepfather revealed that his career as a musician was not making much money between record sales and touring at that time.

Banking on the royalty cheques from English record producer and former Black Sabbath bandmate Patrick Meehan, Elliot’s mother and stepfather welcomed their second child, Louise Osbourne, three years later.

Ozzy Osbourne Was Not on Good Terms with Elliot Kingsley

After Elliot’s mother married Ozzy, the pair lived together, and Ozzy recalled always yelling at Elliot for something or smacking him around the ear. However, Ozzy admitted that Elliot never deserved it, as he had been a good boy growing up. Ozzy said:

“I wish I had been better with him because he’d had a rough time before I came along… To tell you the truth, I must have been a horrendous stepdad.”

At the time, Elliot’s stepfather was a heavy drinker— which made him “volatile”— and he revealed that his ego had been out of control. The mistreatment did not stop at Elliot but included his mother as well.

Ozzy revealed that he would sneak around and sleep with other women. Sometimes he would get so drunk at the pub that he would fall asleep in his car outside the house.

“I acted like a married bachelor,” Elliot’s stepfather said, who admitted to being a nightmare and putting Thelma through hell. Ozzy added:

“I should have never married her. She didn’t deserve it. She wasn’t a bad person, and she wasn’t a bad wife.”

After eleven years of marriage, Elliot’s mother and stepfather went their separate ways. Immediately after, Ozzy married Sharon Osbourne, and the pair welcomed three children.

Elliot Kingsley’s Siblings Are More Public than He Is

The eldest of Elliot’s half-siblings, Jessica Osbourne, pursued a career in the film industry. After a brief stint as an actress, the mother of three chose a career behind the camera as a director, key makeup artist, and costume supervisor.

Elliot’s half-brother Louis was a Dj in the ’90s, landing gigs across America and Europe before he opted for a private life with his life, Louise, and their children. According to reports, Elliot became an actor.

After marrying Sharon, Ozzy Osbourne welcomed three more children not related to Elliot by blood. On September 2, 1983, Aimee Osbourne was born, followed by Kelly Osbourne on October 24, 1984, and Jack Osbourne on November 8, 1985.
