Erykah Badu, 52, looked indistinguishable from her 18-year-old daughter, Puma Curry, in footage and behind-the-scenes snaps of a photo shoot yesterday.

The matching pixie wigs accentuated Erykah Badu and Puma’s wide almond eyes and full lips in the March 6, 2023 post. “Why are y’all this fine?!” “Boss Girl’s Guide” host Tiffany M. Battle demanded to know in the comments.

“This young lady is twinning with both parents. Wild,” a fan said. Stating the obvious, another wrote, “Looking the same age.” Curry is the “Didn’t Cha Know” singer’s kid with The D.O.C.

Under the second post captioned, “Abrykah Dabrah x Pu Ma’at,” singer Storm Marrero wrote, “If copy/paste were a person!” “That [apple emoji] fell from the tree; it sat there and duplicated itself!” an Instagram user declared, and a second said, “Stole your whole face!!!!”

Badu is passing on another one of her gifts to her daughter.

Even when they are not in a studio done with the benefit of hair and makeup, the mother-daughter duo share a stunning resemblance. Badu captioned a TikTok of them at a football field late last year, “Me and my design improvement. ♥♥♥♥♥ I really like her.”

Puma Curry Had Mom in Tears on Morning Show

At 16, Curry’s voice was sweet in her soulful a cappella of Alicia Keys‘ “If I Ain’t Got You” in October 2021. Keys did a duet reaction video the following year, smiling as she encouraged the teen to “sing” and “talk to them.” “LOVE YOU, MA,” Curry commented, to which the older singer replied, “BIG LOVE.”

Badu proudly shared a video in December 2012 of a 12-year-old Curry twirling in an aerial hoop in a residential home while doing a pitch-perfect cover of Rihanna’s “Stay.”

As a warm-up gig before singing at her mother’s birthday party in February 2020, the teen did a duet of “All The Joy” by Moonchild with Erykah Badu on “Good Morning Texas.” Badu teared up, confirming with the host that she always cries when her child sings, as she folded Curry in an embrace.

Badu is passing on another one of her gifts to her daughter. Puma Curry was on “daughter doula duty” last December. She shadowed her doula mom to assist a woman in labor with twins. “This is so dope!! What a beautiful gift to share! And y’all look like sisters!” Kelly Rowland commented on Instagram.
