“I can’t believe it’s real. I miss you so much,” Chloe Cherry posted on August 2, 2023, sharing a behind-the-scenes photo of Angus Cloud photo-bombing her with a peace sign on set.

“I’ll never forget our conversations,” she added. “You were so funny and such a good person. Your story was so inspiring to me. For now, I guess this is goodbye.”

Like Cloud, discovered on the street in Brooklyn to portray the drug dealer Fezco, the Lancaster, Pennsylvania native also had an unconventional route to mainstream fame.

Cherry stood out in the adult film industry for her off-beat Instagram Stories. “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson contacted her through a casting agent via DM. She was cast as Faye, the girlfriend of Cluster, a drug dealer part of Fezco’s supply chain.

The actress made her TV debut by sharing the screen with Cloud and Zendaya, who plays Rue, in the second season’s first episode. In the scene, Faye and Rue are left to their own devices in a car while Fezco goes to an apartment building for business.

Angus Cloud ‘Filled Every Room with Laughter’

Angus Cloud passed away in his family home on Monday, July 31, 2023. In a statement, the family mentioned that it had been a week since they buried his father, who was his best friend. There has been no confirmation of the cause of death.

“Angus was the funniest person ever. I would get so excited to see on the schedule that we would be working together because I knew we’d have the best day, laughing so hard,” Maude Apatow said. Her character Lexi and Fezco had a budding romance.

Zendaya remembered her frequent scene partner by writing in part, “I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm, kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it).”

Sydney Sweeney contended that it was the hardest thing she had ever written, “Angus, you were an open soul with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter. […] This heartache is real, and I wish we could’ve had one more hug and 711 run.”
