‘Family Is So Important’: Goldie Hawn Kate Hudson Looked Gorgeous as They Posed on Red Carpet

Goldie Hawn and her daughter Kate Hudson have always displayed the perfect example of the ideal mother-daughter relationship. For the longest time, they have always attended red-carpet events together, as well as other occasions.

Recently, the pair enjoyed a wonderful time out attending the premiere of the “Fool’s Gold” actress’s upcoming movie “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Murder Mystery.”

Hudson looked gorgeous in a sequined high-neck gown with dramatic sleeves and a simple bun. On the other hand, Hawn rocked black trousers and a long jacket embroidered intricately with silver patterns. She completed her look with silver boots and her signature haircut.

They often celebrate each other on social media and seeing as Hudson credits her success to how her mother raised her, it is no wonder they share such a close bond.

Hudson had disclosed before that her mother has always been an inspiration to her, as well as the foundation of her values. Besides her beauty and acting prowess, she has also inherited so much more from her mother.

According to the “Almost Famous” actress, her mother has also passed down her love for life, fashion, and unforgettable experiences. “The First Wives Club” actress shared her daughter’s sentiments, noting that spending time with Hudson and watching her do what she loves always brings her unimaginable joy.

Hawn has been in the film industry for decades and has carved a name for herself as a prolific and respected actress and philanthropist. But besides her job, she cherishes her family.

She is a mother of three, Hudson and Oliver, who she shares with her first spouse, musician Bill Hudson, and Wyatt Russell, who she shares with her current partner, actor Kurt Russell.

Even though she boasts of a successful acting career, to her, motherhood takes precedence. Hudson also admits that Hawn instilled in her an excellent work ethic, allowing her to be the successful actress she is today. But more than being a mother to her, Hudson says Hawn helps her raise her three children.

She shared her mother’s most valued advice concerning parenting, saying that Hawn advised her to let her children figure out who they are on their own and grow into their own people. She also taught her daughter the importance of learning to let go, especially since she was the mother of a daughter. She said:

“It’s learning to let go. I think a lot of mothers, particularly with their girls, feel helpless when you don’t think you’re needed anymore. It’s just a phase.”

Hawn boasts of having raised three beautiful children, but she also takes immense pride in her role as a grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren.

Often she mentions them in her interviews, drawing attention to how much she dotes on them. As a firm believer in the family unit, Hawn believes that a good family is the answer to happiness. She says, looking at her grandchildren, nothing in the world could make her as proud as she is of all of them. She muses:

“Being a grandmother is amazing. I love it. It brings incredible joy. Family is so important.”

The award-winning actress is a grandmother of seven — Hudson’s three children, Ryder, Bingham, and Rani; Oliver’s three, Wilder, Bohdi, and Rio; and Wyatt’s son Buddy. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Wyatt revealed that their children refer to Hawn and Russell as Gogo and Gogi.

Hawn’s children have also praised their mother for being a wonderful grandma to their children, with Oliver noting how tight they were as a family and how amazing parents and grandparents Hawn and Russell were.
