Ezra Miller’s inclusion in the upcoming DC Comics movie, “The Flash,” is officially guaranteed. According to The Wrap, the embattled actor returned to the Warner Bros. lot and shot a week’s worth of pickups for the upcoming film. Per the outlet, the superhero action film is still set to be released on its regularly scheduled date, as Miller appears to be cooperating with the production team. Following the news that the New Jersey native had begun reshoots for the project, fans took to Twitter to slam the production company for seemingly ignoring the criminal allegations that had been levied against the actor.

“Wow @wbpictures love keeping criminals in their talent pool,” one person tweeted. Another user made a very stark comparison to the response to Will Smith’s Oscars controversy, noting, “Will simply slaps a man, and he gets a 10 year Oscar ban and some upcoming movies cancelled … Meanwhile, Ezra Miller goes out, and actively attacks people, and Warner Bros still keeps that Flash movie on the line, and prints out lots of bail money for Ezra.”
