In 2020, Tiffany hinted that she might get pregnant while quarantined with her then-boyfriend Common. After that, questions about whether she was pregnant started appearing on Twitter.

A Twitter user asked, “So.. is Tiffany Haddish pregnant by Tyrese or NAWT?” with another saying, “Tiffany Haddish pregnant for real, or that’s a fake bump?”

Another tweet said, “Tiffany Haddish pregnant by Common?!?,” and another user tweeted, “Tiffany Haddish pregnant by Common, and he not happy about it.”

On April 1, 2022, Haddish reportedly shared a post about her being pregnant; however, it turned out to be a joke. But the joke wasn’t understood by all the fans, and the post has since been deleted.

Tiffany Haddish has previously opened up about what she thinks about motherhood. Towards the end of 2021, the actress discussed putting motherhood plans on “pause.” However, she has revealed that she would like to have children. She also said she wanted to adopt a child and told Us Weekly:

“I had to put a pause on that [adoption] process because my business has picked up, and I feel when you take a child [in], you really need to be able to focus on them.”

Tiffany Haddish Is Thinking About Adopting a Child

Tiffany Haddish has been open about her plans to adopt a child. She revealed to Us Weekly in May 2021 that she was taking parenting classes to adopt. Haddish also spoke about wanting the child she adopts to be between 5 years and seven years and that the child must feel that she “wanted them.”

In early 2022, the comedian, who was placed in foster care as a child, shared an update about her wanting to adopt a child. She said she had visited certain places, such as Africa and was in Eritrea, and said, “people were trying to give me their kids.” When asked when she’s planning on becoming a parent, Haddish expressed:

“Not right now, but maybe at the end of the year, beginning of next year.”
