Five horrifying details about the case of Chad Daybell

1) According to reports, Chad Daybell texted his wife to make an explanation

The most damning evidence they found during their investigation was a text message Chad sent to his wife on the night they thought Tylee Ryan was buried in their backyard. He stated to his wife in the text:

“A large racoon (sic) was visible along the fence. I quickly grabbed my gun, and one shot was all it took. He’s now buried in our pet cemetery.”
When Chad sent the message to his wife, it appeared to the prosecution that he was inventing an explanation. It arrived at the Daybell property 14 minutes after Alex Cox’s GPS location. But a later investigation of the site turned up no trace of a raccoon buried there.

2) Tammy, his wife, allegedly died of asphyxiation after being murdered by him.

Even though the Daybell family’s children declined to have an autopsy performed after their mother passed away, questions about Tammy’s cause of death were raised, prompting detectives to have the body exhumed for a later examination. According to reports, the 49-year-old librarian asphyxiated to death; Chad Daybell was suspected by officials.

3) Chad misled regarding whereabouts of his step-son, JJ

Melanie Gibb, a friend of Lori Vallow’s, claimed that the two had repeatedly misled law enforcement when questioned about JJ’s location. Months after the girl vanished, Lori was contacted by the police, and she informed them that the 7-year-old was with her friend Melanie. She was the same acquaintance who had been residing at the accused’s home at the time the youngster was last seen.

4) In the middle of the investigation, Chad and Lori went to Hawaii

When authorities discovered that both of Lori’s children had been missing for weeks, they quickly began a nationwide search. Chad Daybell and his recentlywed wife Lori were the only two who did not appear at all concerned, despite the fact that the entire nation prayed for the safety of the two children. The pair travelled to Hawaii, which caused quite a stir, as the search for the missing children intensified.

5) Daybell was stunned to see proof in his property.

The Daybell siblings claim that we have only heard one side of the story about JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan’s slayings.

Insisting that their father is innocent and that their parents’ deaths were the fault of his new wife and her brother.

Authorities searched the Daybell home for Tylee and JJ one fine day in June 2020. They assumed that, based on the evidence discovered, there was a chance of discovering the two kids somewhere on their sizable property. They were accurate.
