A flight attendant noticed a baby in distress and chose to take action, but would the mom react positively towards a stranger interfering with her parenting?

Being a mother is hard enough, no less flying with a baby – especially if they cry and everyone begins staring daggers at you while helplessly trying to calm your little one down.

One mom had this exact problem on her flight, unable to appease her baby’s hunger and keep her quiet – until a superwoman showed up to save the day.

A MOM’S INSTINCTS

In 2018, Philippines airline flight attendant, Patrisha Organo, shared an adorable story on her Facebook page. Organo recalled a recent flight she had been on when she heard a baby crying.

As a mother herself, the attendant said this touched her heart, so she went to see if she could assist. Teary-eyed, the mother let Organo know that the formula milk she had brought with her was finished.

PARENTS HELPING PARENTS

Luckily for the desperate mother, Organo decided that she could breastfeed the baby,  to which the mother gladly approved. Speaking about this, Organo said

“As a mother, you can just imagine the emotional chaos the mother must have been going through. As a fellow mom, I would really like to help.”

She said that she and the mom walked to the galley where she sometimes feeds her own baby and that the passenger was relieved

NOTHING REMARKABLE

“I don’t really consider myself or the act extraordinary. You know it’s just the act of a fellow mom helping another mom.[sic]”

However, many of us may not realize that small, everyday, ordinary acts of kindness can maybe accumulate to create an extraordinary society.

As we all know, and can surmise from this mother’s challenges on the airplane, parenthood can sometimes truly test people. This is even more difficult when you have to go at it alone.

But, like Organo, there are always those willing to help. One man was in desperate need of assistance when he had to leave his 2-year-old daughter outside the courtroom for his hearing.

Anxious, the dad was relieved when he came out of the courtroom and found his baby sleeping on police officer Kevin Norris‘s lap.

While her father was absent, the cop took it upon himself to look after her, offering her treats and showing her cartoons on his phone.

So many dads and moms are terrified of what could happen to their children in what appears to be a dangerous world. This is why it is comforting to know that there are those out there who will go out of their way to help kids.
