Gisele Bündchen has taken to Instagram to share some new reflections months after her divorce from ex-husband Tom Brady. In April, she posted a video of herself smiling and biking with the caption, “We all have our fair shares of trials. Every laugh, every fall, every experience, the good and the bad, everything is here to teach us something and help us grow.”
Bündchen continued, “Nothing is permanent. So let’s enjoy the good moments and learn from the bad ones. Every day is a gift!” She also wrote in Portuguese, “Deus eu agradeço pelo sol. Agradeço pela chuva. Agradeço pela alegria. Agradeço pela dor. É um dia lindo!” which translates to, “God I thank you for the sun. I thank you for the rain. I thank you for the joy. I thank you for the pain. It’s a beautiful day!”
Bündchen and Brady married in 2009 and announced their split in October 2022, shortly after finalizing their divorce. In a statement on Instagram, Bündchen wrote that “the decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart, and…I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
In an interview with Vanity Fair for their April 2023 cover story, Bündchen discussed speculation surrounding their divorce. She addressed rumors that Brady’s decision to return to football in 2022 led to their split, saying “Wow, people really made it about that [the unretirement]. What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle.
