UPDATED: The Giants have withstood two serious injuries and a late Saints comeback to remain undefeated in 2024.

A late rushed behind was all that remained between the two clubs after the Saints kicked the last five goals of the match.

“Credit to the Saints, they got on the downhill and just kept going,” Giants star Lachie Whitfield told Fox Footy.

“I don’t know if it was the sun or something in that last quarter. I actually thought it was 80 a piece and we had tied them at the end but we will take it,” Giants star Lachie Whitfield told Fox Footy.

He added that Taylor’s injury was a scary one.

“Sam is a key player for us down back and it was pretty sad to see, it was a bit scary, to be honest,” Whitfield told Fox Footy.
