They reportedly hit it off right away and began dating soon after. The couple tied the knot in 1996 and were married until 2013, making the “Days of Our Lives” actor Cole’s stepfather. Christian, who previously portrayed the role of Dr. Daniel Jonas on “DOOL,” is a proud father to Cole, even though he and her mother are no longer married. In 2020, the actor spent Father’s Day weekend at Cole and her husband Cameron Larson’s wedding, and Christian even penned a sweet tribute to the duo on social media.
“This was the greatest FATHERS DAY gift! My daughter’s WEDDING DAY! So this happened last night … To see and feel the spark of your daughter’s storybook love on her Wedding Day has ignited memories for a lifetime,” Christian wrote on Instagram. “SO PROUD of the amazing young lady you have blossomed into. You’re the perfect gentleman for her Cameron. Blessed to call you family. I will be gushing for quite some time so bear with me,” he added.
Although Christian is no longer Cole’s stepfather legally speaking, it’s obvious that he considers the actress his daughter, and the two actually have a lot in common.
