‘Hard Cell’ Star Catherine Tate Is to Marry for the 1st Time after Past Long-Term Relationship – Who Is her Fiancé?

“The Office” actress Catherine Tate was one of the many people who didn’t think marriage was necessary. She changed her mind and is now engaged to another artist.

Born in London in May 1968, Catherine Tate showed up on the entertainment industry scene in the early 1990s but shot to fame in 2004 with her BBC sketch comedy series “The Catherine Tate Show.”

HER LONGEST RELATIONSHIP

Before making it big in the entertainment industry, Tate was in a relationship with Twig Clark. The actress prefers to keep the details of her personal life away from the spotlight, but some tidbits about their romance are public. 

In January 2003, Tate and Clark’s daughter, Erin, was born at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned, and Tate needed an emergency C-section to deliver the baby.

Although Clark and Tate were romantically involved for almost a decade and even shared a daughter, they never married. The actress explained it was mainly her fault because she always thought marriage was not for her. Tate elaborated: 

“It’s not that I’m suspicious of it […], it’s just that I don’t have a reference for it because my mom wasn’t. It’s not as if I’m not fully committed to [Clark], because I am.”

OTHER RUMORED ROMANCES

After Tate and Clark parted ways in 2011, she was linked to a few famous people. One of them was former Take That singer and “Killer Net” actor Jason Orange.

They supposedly met in late 2011 while working together on a charity TV sketch for Comic Relief. They kept their relationship under wraps and were photographed together only a few times before parting ways in 2012.

After Jason Orange, Catherine Tate and Adrian Chiles allegedly dated. They met in January 2011 when Tate appeared on Chiles’ “That Sunday Night Show.”

They were photographed together in Los Angeles in 2012, but their relationship was short-lived because of their busy work schedules.

CATHERINE TATE AND JEFF GUTHEIM’S ROMANCE

After kissing many frogs, Tate finally found her prince charming. The lucky one is American screenwriter Jeff Gutheim. They began dating after he divorced his ex-wife of 19 years (and mother of his three kids), Tracey. 

In early 2019, Tate and Gutheim made headlines after revealing their engagement. It seems like Gutheim changed Tate’s mind about marriage, but they have not shared anything about their future wedding.
