Hour-by-hour Met Office snow forecast for Yorkshire areas covered by yellow weather warning

Icy patches and snow could hit parts of North Yorkshire and the Humber on Tuesday, says the Met Office, as the meteorologists issued a yellow warning of snow and ice for parts of the region.

The Met Office has warned that the weather may lead to hazardous conditions on Tuesday evening and overnight into Wednesday morning.

The warning is in place from 5pm on Tuesday (November 28) until 11am tomorrow (Wednesday).

The warning covers Malton, Helmsley and other parts of North Yorkshire with the affected area stretching almost to the coast. A second snow and ice warning, covering the same area, is in place from 5pm on Wednesday until 11am on Thursday.
