How Are Hailey and Alec Baldwin Related? Look inside Their Family Tree

While some people who share the same surnames are unrelated, others are closely related and may or may not know. That is the same situation for Alec Baldwin and Hailey Bieber, who share a close bond.

On May 26, 2022, Alec Baldwin took to his Instagram to announce that he had lost his mother at 92 after she had survived a breast cancer diagnosis in 1991.

In his post, the prominent actor did not mention the cause of death, but he gave a detailed story of his mother’s life—from her birth to meeting her husband.

As celebrities took to the comment section to console him for his loss, Hailey commented with a white heart symbol as Alec’s mother was also her grandmother. In his post, Alec said:

“It is with the deepest regret that my family posts the following statement. Carol M. Baldwin, mother of actors Alec, Daniel, William and Stephen Baldwin and two daughters, Elizabeth [Keuchler] and Jane [Sasso], died today in Syracuse, New York.”

As he ended the post, “The 30 Rock” actor also shared the teachings he learned from his mother while also adding that 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren survived her.

ARE HAILEY AND ALEC BALDWIN RELATIVES?

In 1990, Alec’s brother Stephen married Kennya, and they have two model daughters together, Alaia, born in 1993, and Hailey, born in 1996.

Alaia married Andrew Aronow in 2017, while Hailey married pop star Justin Bieber in 2018. Hailey, the niece of Alec, made a household name for herself asides from her famous family’s name and is known for her high-profile modeling campaigns.

Alec is a father of seven children. In 1993, he married actress Kim Basinger, and on October 23, 1995, the pair welcomed their only child together, Ireland, and they divorced in 2002. Ireland is a model with a few acting credits to her name.

In June 2012, Alec remarried fitness guru Hilaria, and he welcomed his second child, Carmen Gabriela, on August 24, 2013, 20 years after his first child.

On June 17, 2015, Alec and Hilaria welcomed their first boy Rafael Thomas. When he is not playing with his siblings, he loves to hang out at movie premieres with his parents.

The couple welcomed another son, Leonardo Ángel Charles, on September 12, 2016, and Romeo Alejandro David, on May 17, 2018.

After the arrival of Romeo, Hilaria suffered two miscarriages in 2019 before welcoming Eduardo Pau Lucas, whom they said was perfect and had no trouble fitting in, on September 8, 2020.

The SAG Award winner and actress then shocked the world by announcing the arrival of their sixth child, a daughter called Lucia, in March 2021. In her post, Hilaria wrote:

“We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true.”

On March 29, 2022, Hilaria took to Instagram to announce that she and Alec were expanding their family. The couple told their other children that they were expecting a seventh child.
