How Many Times Has Britney Spears Been Married?

Britney Spears got married again on June 9, 2022. The mother of two has been engaged three times in the past, has also been married to several men, and her marriage to Sam Asghari is her third marriage.

On June 9, 2022, TMZ revealed that Jason Alexander was booked for trespassing, vandalism, and two batteries related to his physical altercations with security personnel. They also reported that he had a felony warrant for theft in another county and remained in custody.

Jason Alexander, Britney Spears’s first husband, was arrested after he showed up at her wedding uninvited and tried to interrupt the event, resulting in a dramatic police response.

Alexander went on Instagram live on Thursday, June 9, 2022, to share his activities with his followers as he approached the security at Spears’s wedding and told them that the “Toxic” singer had invited him.

Somehow, Alexander made it inside Spears’s home, where he continued to live stream and went down to where the decorators were still setting up. He said she was his first and only wife and was there to crash the wedding.

However, security personnel on the ground who had initially asked him to leave got into some physical struggle with Alexander and were able to restrain him outside eventually.

HAS BRITNEY SPEARS BEEN MARRIED?

Spears had been married three times in total. Her first marriage was to Alexander on January 3, 2004. They were childhood friends and tied the knot in Las Vegas.

However, their marriage lasted only 55 hours, and they annulled it on Monday, January 5, 2004. When they got married, Spears and Alexander were only 22 years old.

Spears went on to date American rapper, DJ, actor, television personality, professional wrestler, and fashion model Kevin Federline after her whirlwind relationship with her first husband ended. On June 25, 2004, the pop music sensation and dancer announced their engagement.

Months later, on October 6, 2004, the couple legally married. On September 14, 2005, the couple welcomed their first son, Sean Preston. On September 12, 2006, the couple welcomed their second child, a son named Jayden James.

Spears filed for divorce on November 6, 2006, not long after the birth of their second son. They finalized their divorce on July 30, 2007. Spears met personal trainer Asghari in October 2016 when he played her love interest in her “Slumber Party” music video featuring Tinashe.

Shortly after the filming, they started dating, made their relationship Instagram-official in January 2017, and made their red carpet debut in February 2017 at the Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala.

On September 12, 2021, they revealed they were engaged through social media and married on June 9, 2022, in Los Angeles.

IS BRITNEY SPEARS PREGNANT?

On May 14, 2022, Spears announced on her Instagram page that she had lost her baby. Spears had earlier revealed that she and Asghari were expecting a child after she decided to take a pregnancy test due to unexplained weight gain.

In her statement, Spears said it was a devastating time for any parent and wondered if they should have waited until they were further along to announce their “miracle baby.”
