Jeff Burton, a cast member of The Rizzuto Show who is battling cancer, just entered hospice care.
Rizzuto revealed on July 11 that the 55-year-old Burton’s last appearance on the program was on July 1, which had a negative impact on him. He continued by saying that Jeff had not been feeling well for a while and that he was awaiting word from Jeff’s wife, Julie. Additionally, Rizzuto mentioned that Jeff might not come back.
Because Jeff’s prostate cancer had spread throughout his body, he was just taken to the hospital. Doctors determined that an end-of-life plan was necessary, and on July 8 Jeff went back to his house. Julie thanked everyone for their love and support and stated that his family members are doing everything in their power to make him feel at ease.

Following his prostate cancer diagnosis, Jeff Burton’s followers have been wishing him well on social media. He became 55 years old in May 2022, which was his most recent birthday.
In March 2021, Burton told his listeners that he had prostate cancer. He said that the diagnosis occurred after a routine blood test revealed that his PSA levels were increasing. After a few months, he claimed to have had another checkup and discovered that his PSA readings were still rising.
In a social media post, Jeff’s wife Julie said that Missouri Baptist Hospital doctors were working hard to stabilize him and that he had gotten two blood transfusions as well as a platelet transfusion at the time. Even though his condition gradually stabilized, it was clear that the cancer was having an impact on his body because his blood levels were not normal.
Rizzuto said he believes Jeff will do a miracle. According to Patrico, Jeff has been working in radio for a while, and he had a big influence on him growing up.
