Zendaya and Tom Holland debuted as a love tandem in the Marvel franchise, “Spider-Man,” but unlike other couples, the actor is a bit shorter than his leading lady. Nevertheless, their height difference is not an issue in their relationship outside of work.

Zendaya has become among the most sought-after actresses in the past few years, captivating the hearts of both the younger and older generations.

This year, the actress made is to the 100 Most Influential People of 2022, a list produced by Time magazine.

Director Denis Villeneuve says, “She is timeless, and she can do it all.” Zendaya has proved her capabilities as an actress in the many film and television credits under her belt, including a significant role in “Spider-Man,” alongside Tom Holland.

While filming three installments, the co-stars naturally grew closer and eventually fell in love. Zendaya and Holland are now dating and have joked about their differences.

HOW TALL IS ZENDAYA?

Zendaya stands at 5”10, while Holland is 5”8 tall. Although the actress is taller, they both know height is not a big deal in their relationship. In fact, they have joked about their height difference and addressed it seriously.

According to Holland, it would be “a stupid assumption” to have it as an issue in their relationship. Zendaya added:

“This is normal too. My mom is taller than my dad. My mom is taller than everyone.”

Although their height difference did not affect their relationship, it created some issues while filming stunts for “Spider-Man.” One scene included the couple landing on a bridge where Holland was supposed to drop Zendaya off gently. However, since she was taller, her feet landed first.

“Zendaya would land – and I’m the superhero. I’m supposed to look cool,” Holland quipped. Nevertheless, all action scenes were filmed smoothly and seamlessly for the viewers’ enjoyment.

WHAT IS ZENDAYA’S LAST NAME

Unlike other actresses, Zendaya is only referred to by her first name, leaving fans wondering what her last name is. 

Born Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman, the star is the only child of Kazembe Ajamu and Claire Marie Stoermer. She dropped her last name when she joined the entertainment industry, thinking it would sound “cool” as a stage moniker.

However, this does not mean that Zendaya does not like her full name and the history that comes with it. “I have my African first name, I have a middle name that is [my mom’s] middle name, which is French, but we did it African spelling,” she said, as reported by Pop Sugar.

Zendaya’s roots are of African and German descent, and her full name incorporates her diverse heritage. “The Greatest Showman” star is grateful to her parents, not only for her name but also for their unconditional love and support since her Disney days on “Shake It Up.”

Although they divorced in 2016, the pair remain close to their child and always come together when Zendaya needs them to be present in her life.
