they had always wanted to adopt, and bringing Oscar into the family was “a no-brainer.”

Five years later, Jackman and Furness made Oscar a big brother by adopting their daughter, Ava. Furness said it was of the utmost importance to them to embrace each of their children’s cultural differences. She said:

“We completely embrace the ancestors and the extended family; they’re family to us.”

Furness said the notion that their marriage was a sham was the biggest problem for her as she found it offensive that anyone would think that. She went on to say the rumors were “stupid” and “annoying.”

Another post was on Furness’ birthday last year when Jackman posted a photo of him and his wife near a lake. In the caption, he called Furness “extraordinary” and said she had taught him to celebrate even the smallest things in life.

For Valentine’s Day, Jackman took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Furness and wish her a happy Valentine’s Day. The picture showed the couple in black outfits, beaming at the camera.

Furness wore black and white stockings, as Jackman wore white shoes and a sleek black coat. Jackman said he was celebrating his wife on their 28th Valentine’s Day as a married couple. However, the comments on the post were not complimentary.

Once again, fans took to the comments to share their views about Jackman being with Furness. One commenter said Jackman should have married someone younger, and another commented with sick emojis.

Another called the post “horrible,” and one user wanted to know what was wrong with Furness’ legs. However, the couple did not entertain the negative comments. Only the positive comments were acknowledged.

When asked what it was that had kept them together in the face of all the adversity they’ve been through, Furness

said

“He makes me laugh. He’s hilarious. Not as funny as me, but he’s good. I give him all his best material!”

Furness believes that she and her husband are kindred spirits but that genuinely having love for one another is what keeps a couple together. She said when a person loves someone, they want the best for the person they love, and that is how she and her husband are.
