‘I Am the Most Blessed’: Grandma Kathie Lee Gifford Cradles Newborn Grandson in Loving Pic

An overjoyed Kathie Lee Gifford recently welcomed a grandson. She posted an adorable picture on social media, expressing her love and adoration for the new addition to her family.

Kathie Lee Gifford, the TV presenter, singer, and actress, couldn’t contain her joy as a proud grandmother. She recently had the opportunity to spend quality time with her new grandchild, Finn. Sharing her happiness with her followers, Gifford posted an adorable photo on Instagram on July 2, showing her cradling the newborn.

“What a joy to spend sweet time with baby FINN. I am the most blessed of women. It seems! Happy Fourth of July, everybody,” she wrote.

Kathie Lee Gifford’s daughter, Cassidy Gifford, and her husband welcomed their first child, Finn, on June 24. Cassidy announced Finn’s birth in a sweet Instagram post. She shared a beautiful photo of Finn pressing his cute feet against her hand and captioned it:

“Our whole entire world. Finn Thomas Wierda 6.24.2023. We are so madly in love with you, buddy. Thank you, Lord, for this most precious gift.”

In the comments section, Kathie expressed her admiration for her daughter Cassidy and her husband Ben, describing them as “a wonder.” She praised them for being first-time parents and highlighted their love for each other. According to Kathie, their love reflects how deeply they care for their newborn.

Before Finn’s birth, Cassidy had announced via Instagram that she and her husband were expecting their bundle of joy in June 2023. In 2022, Kathie revealed to PEOPLE that being a grandmother was “beautiful,” this was after her son Cody welcomed his first child, Frank Michael Gifford, with his wife, Erika Brown.

During an interview, Kathie shared her preference for being called “Bubbie” instead of the more common “Nana” among grandmothers. She explained that she derived inspiration for this name from discovering that a Jewish grandmother is called “Bubbalah.”

Kathie is set to welcome another grandchild. Her son Cody and his partner Erika are expecting their second child to arrive this winter. Erika took to her Instagram page to share the joyful announcement of their pregnancy, spreading the news with their followers.
