Ida Gearon Is a Veteran in the Entertainment Industry with an Extensive Resume

Gearon displayed her talents in creativity when she became the costume designer of several films, including “Army of Darkness,” “Necronomicon: Book of Dead,” “Mindwrap,” “The Return of Superfly,” “Tales from the Darkside: The Movie,” “High Stakes,” and “Underground.”

She also has two productions under her name, including “Running Time” in 1997, where she was a line producer, and “A Community Speaks” in 2004,” where she was a co-producer.

Besides her work behind the scenes, Gearon has on-screen credits. When the time came, she did not pass on the chance to work with her husband, so they starred in a commercial for a car company. Campbell previously recalled their collaborative work and recalled:

“Back in the day, Ida and I totaled a brand new Subaru in Oregon a week after we bought it. The dealership called about shooting a “happy customer” testimonial.”

Instead, they shifted the commercial to focus on the safety of the customers despite the car wreck. The outcome showed the couple’s sweet affection towards each other while praising the security they felt while in the car.

Gearon married her husband in February 1991, and in 2023, they will be celebrating a significant milestone – their 31st wedding anniversary.

It has been years since the couple first fell in love, but to this day, they are still crazy about each other. Campbell has taken the opportunity to pay tribute to his wife during their past anniversaries.

In 2021, he took to Instagram with a sweet post to celebrate their 30th anniversary. “I married this sassy/classy dame, Ida Gearon, 30 years ago,” he wrote. “Eat it, Hollywood marriages!”

The following year, Campbell shared a throwback photo of their early years hiking. In the post, he called his wife his Valentine. The actor doesn’t hold back when sharing his love for Gearon. He marvels over her and claims that she makes him see the world as a whole.

Campbell also keeps Gearon at her feet with his antics. Previously, he revealed that he put her in the hospital and nearly had Gearon arrested by Bulgarian police.

Besides their exciting life as husband and wife, Gearon plays the most important role as mother to her two kids with Campbell. The duo shares a daughter, Rebecca, and a son, Andy.

Not much is known about Gearon’s children, as they were raised by protective parents. However, they did have a normal upbringing away from the spotlight. Rebecca and Andy also chose to avoid following their parent’s path in the entertainment industry.
