I’m A Celebrity viewers were not happy with Nigel Farage as he targeted Sam Thomason despite his health condition – and in the same episode were left in floods of tears after the ‘letters from home’ returned.

During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit show tension was high in the Australian jungle as the celebs got stuck in their daily tasks.

However former politician Nigel was not impressed with Sam as he claimed that he does “f*** all.” Some of the campmates were having a chat, where Fred admitted that Sam was a “nice man” but pointed out that he is “not very good at getting the water though. Yesterday Nick did it by himself.”

Nigel jumped in and commented: “He’s done f*** all.” Danielle went straight to Sam and informed him about the conversation.

The Made In Chelsea star was then left feeling guilty and rushed straight it Nick and asked Nick if he should go and get some water.

While speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Sam was not happy with Nigel’s remark, he went on to say: “Nigel, what a d***, proper ratted me out. I want to help the camp but I’m really forgetful so I just won’t remember to do it. I feel a bit guilty,”

Viewers rushed straight to Twitter as they pointed out that Sam may struggle to remember thing because of his ADHD.

@alexr_241 Tweeted: “Nigel best leave Sam alone #ImACeleb.” @HannahhhhLouise wrote: “So Nigel is basically b******* about Sam having ADHD now? Utter arsehole. #ImACeleb.”

@BeckieJay commented: “Not that I warmed to Nigel Farage, but him rolling his eyes and making comments about Sam is the final straw! #ImACeleb.”

@MaiaBug2010 said: “Dear @Nigel_Farage Sam has ADHD you w*****. Typical that you take the p*** out of someone who’s Neuro divergent! He FORGETS things. Instead of taking the piss, do something yourself!”

@rebeccatopping3 wrote: “We MUST protect @SamThompsnUK Nigel do NOT go for Sam. It’s not his fault he forgets to do stuff. Some ppl need a bit of extra help….Sam to WIN.”

While @_ShannonLew added: “I wish Nigel would stop referring Sam to an 8 year old child .. He’s a man with ADHD, if he can’t understand that then he needs help. #ImACeleb.”

Later in the episode, the celebrities opened their letters from home.

This is where the campmates are given letters and messages written by loved ones, and they were read out to camp for the likes of Marvin, Nigel and Nella.

Marvin’s in particular, from Rochelle, had viewers welling up.

@sarahfreer said: “#Rochelle & #Zara your letters to Marv & Sam have sent me over the edge. And we only get to hear a snippet of the full letters! Such touching words”

@thirlwclls added: “marvins letter omg”
