Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, and the rest of their family have recently been the talk of the town following the pop star’s conservatorship battle. Here’s a look at the sisters’ relationship as seen by the public.

Britney Spears was supposed to spend her wedding day with pure joy and without worries, but instead, the celebration ended with an uninvited wedding crasher in jail.
The “Oops I Did It Again” singer’s ex-husband for 55 hours, Jason Alexander, showed up unexpectedly in Spears’s Southern California home around three in the afternoon on her wedding day.

In a video he publicly broadcasted on Instagram, Alexander showed how he walked in on Britney’s property and eventually inside a decorated wedding tent. He repeatedly asked security, “Where’s Britney at?” even after being told to leave.
“I’m Jason Alexander, [the] first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding, brother,” he told a person. “Britney Spears invited me here. I’m here to crash the wedding.”
An emergency protective order was released later that day for Alexander to stay away from Spears. He was arrested in Ventura County with another outstanding warrant to his name.

It seems that Alexander and Britney did not end their relationship on the right foot, especially with his behavior on the singer’s special day. Alexander isn’t the only one who is not on good terms with Britney. Aside from her father, the pop star also seems to have a feud with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
INSIDE BRITNEY SPEARS AND JAMIE LYNN SPEARS’ RELATIONSHIP
Since her conservatorship began, reports about Britney’s family abusing her money surfaced in the press. However, her sister Jamie Lynn seemed to be the only member of the family who was not on Britney’s payroll.
That, however, did not indicate that they had a good relationship. Although unclear if the sisters talk behind closed doors, most of their arguments are through indirect posts on social media. In July 2021, Britney penned a lengthy Instagram post that may have referred to the younger Spears.

“There’s nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you post things in regard to your situation, whatever it may be, and speak righteously for support,” Britney wrote. “If you’re gonna post something… Please stop with the righteous approach […].”

Whether the post was directed at Jamie Lynn, no one knows. However, it speaks volumes that Jamie Lynn is not among the few Instagram accounts Britney follows.

Early in 2022, Jamie Lynn released a book, “Things I Should Have Said,” where she revealed that she “adored” Britney, who “felt like another mama.” However, Britney’s behavior changed as she grew older, becoming “paranoid,” “erratic,” and “spiraling.” She added:
“I’ve always been my sister’s biggest supporter, so when she needed help, I set up ways to do so. I went out of my way to make sure that Britney had the contacts she needed to possibly end this conservatorship.”
WHO IS JAMIE LYNN SPEARS’S HUSBAND?
Jamie Lynn is now busy with a family of her own. In 2014, she married Jamie Watson, who runs an electronics company.

The couple shares one daughter, Ivey Joan Watson, who they welcomed in 2018. The actress also has a daughter, Maddie, from a previous relationship, who she had at 17.

Jamie Lynn became a young mother when Maddie was born, and although she did not have the experience of raising a child, she learned several lessons on the way.
When Maddie was eight years old, she suffered a terrible accident that nearly cost her her life. Although the former Nickelodeon star doesn’t talk about it as much, it was undoubtedly a traumatic experience for their family.
Now much older, Maddie is on to greater heights as a high school student. She recently graduated from Middle School with academic and athletic achievements.
