Beloved TV personality and host Leeza Gibbons was married three times before meeting her current husband. From those marriages, she welcomed three children, who were the only witnesses to her most recent nuptials with a man 13 years her junior, Steven Fenton.

Leeza Gibbons was Entertainment Tonight’s correspondent for a decade before leading her own show, “Leeza,” between 1993 and 2000. The TV personality also dipped her toes in the film industry, appearing in the 1987 and 1990’s “Robocop” 1 and 2, 1993’s “Last Action Hero,” and several more.

While she won the hearts of many in her career, Gibbons also maintained an illustrious love life. Each time a relationship ended, she wasn’t afraid to try again. After news of her small wedding broke in 2011, Gibbons gushed about her relationship, saying that she and Fenton were “living the fairytale.”

Leeza Gibbons’ Fourth Marriage

On April 22, 2011, Leeza Gibbons and Steven Fenton exchanged vows in front of her daughter Lexi and her sons, Troy and Nathan. According to People, Lexi and Troy officiated their mother’s marriage after being ordained online.

Gibbon’s youngest was in charge of presenting the rings, designed uniquely to represent the family of five. The wedding tokens had five bands that represented each family member. The candlelit ceremony, decorated with white roses and the warmth of a roaring fire, took place at the Montage Hotel rooftop in Beverly Hills.

Gibbons donned a stunning cream embroidered gown designed by Sue Wong and accessorized with a stylish headband and simple jewelry. Her daughter, Lexi, also wore a dress from the same designer, and the boys all matched with cream outfits.

Following their small and intimate wedding, Gibbons gushed about her new union, expressing gratitude for another chance at love.

The host told People that she and Fenton respected each other immensely and continued to grow stronger as a couple. According to the outlet, she jokingly recalled:

“On my first date with Steven, he was 38 and I was 51. Now, three years later, I am finally able to embrace my inner cougar!”

Fenton also gushed about his wife, who felt his life was complete now that she was a part of it. He described her as the kindest and most compassionate person. The now-52-year-old even added that he saw those qualities in her children.

How Leeza Gibbons and Steven Fenton Met

When Leeza Gibbons and Steven Fenton met, Fenton was a former president of the Beverly Hills Board of Education. The couple fatefully met through a blind date set-up and had their first date at the Montage Hotel rooftop — where they later got married.

They dated for more than two years until Fenton proposed in June 2010. The couple celebrated their 11th anniversary this year and has been going strong ever since. Fenton regularly makes appearances on his wife’s Instagram page whenever the couple embarks on an outdoor adventure or enjoys some family time.

Just last month, Gibbons posted a beautiful selfie with her husband. The lovers smiled at the camera, standing against a gorgeous natural landscape. The hashtags on the caption indicated that Gibbons and Fenton were exploring Hyde Park on a sunny day. The host also included a quote:

On September 7, Gibbons and Fenton enjoyed a double date with the host’s eldest son, Troy, and his girlfriend. Alongside another lovely selfie, Gibbons revealed that the four of them were enjoying a night out on the town, “checking out all the best pizza spots.”

Gibbons also seems to enjoy one-on-one time with her daughter, Lexi, as the pair appears to have a unique relationship. On August 20, the host penned a touching birthday tribute to her firstborn, who she described as compassionate and empathetic.

Gibbons also revealed that Lexi was on the path to becoming a therapist, saying she’s a natural. The host shared the loving message alongside a picture of herself and Lexi smiling warmly at the camera, cushioned together in the comfort of a luxurious couch.

Leeza Gibbons’ Previous Marriages

Before making her last trip down the aisle with Steven Fenton, Leeza Gibbons was married to actor and architect Stephen Meadows. The former lovers tied the knot on February 14, 1991, and welcomed sons Troy and Nathan during their union.

In February 2005, People reported that Meadows had filed for divorce, just a few days shy of their 14th anniversary. The actor cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the dissolution of their marriage. The court papers obtained by the outlet revealed that Meadows and Gibbons had separated weeks before.

Furthermore, Meadows requested joint custody of their sons and sought no spousal support from his ex-wife. According to the actor’s attorney, Meadows still loved Gibbons and hoped for the best, despite their separation.

Before the 65-year-old host met Meadows, she married “Coronation Street” alum Chris Quentin. The former lovers tied the knot in 1981 but divorced only two years later. During their short union, they welcomed the host’s firstborn, Lexi.

Gibbons’ first trip down the aisle was to a man named John Hicks between 1980 and 1982. The host has been described as a strong leader with incredible listening skills, which she displayed on the TV series “The Apprentice,” co-produced by former US president Donald Trump.

According to Heavy, Gibbons, Vivica A. Fox, and Gerald Rivera were among the contestants called into a boardroom by Trump. When the former US president announced that he would fire one of them, Fox decided to step down and hand her spot to Gibbons, whom she admired as the stronger player.
