Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of the King of Rock N’ Roll, Elvis Presley, didn’t live in her own home in her final years, but it was nothing short of luxurious.

In the sprawling glamour of Los Angeles, her final residence served as a quietly regal retreat for the actress until her sudden demise from cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023. Nestled in a peaceful cul-de-sac, the stone-built chateau was acquired by its present owners for close to $3.5 million in the autumn of 2021.

In March 2020, Lisa Marie purchased a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Calabasas Estate Park for $1.8 million. The property was fraught with tragedy, as her son, Benjamin Keough, tragically took his own life within its walls in July of the same year. Heartbroken, Lisa Marie was unable to set foot in the home, leading her to sell the property for $2 million on December 29.

Before her death, Lisa Marie’s property portfolio included a Florida home, bought by the late actress Kristie Alley for $1.5 million nearly 23 years ago, and the iconic Graceland, inherited from her father.

Lisa Marie’s death sparked a legal tussle over Graceland’s ownership between Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, and her daughter Riley Keough.

Months later, family unity emerged from the courtroom, with Priscilla’s attorney, Ronson J. Shamoun, declaring that “everyone is happy.” Shamoun, who also represents Lisa Marie’s Promenade Trust, characterized the family as “united.”

The case is set to reconvene on August 4, as determined by L.A. County Superior Court Judge Lynn H. Scaduto. The settlement, which includes a significant life insurance policy, is due to be filed by June 12.
