Is Gabby Barrett Pregnant? Singer Shares Her Response After Rumors Circulated Social Media

Rumors that Gabby Barrett is pregnant with her second child have been circulating for some time now, leaving the proud mother no choice but to come forward with the good news; here are the details.

Gabby Barrett revealed news of her pregnancy to the world on Sunday, which was mother’s day, when she took to her Instagram page with a video of an ultrasound that showed a baby developing in her belly.

In the post, which was accompanied by orchestral music, the proud mom also revealed that the child was going to be a son and declared that it was yet another life she and her husband, Cade Foehner, whom she got married to in 2019, would “love and cherish.”

The good news was met with enthusiasm from netizens, and many quickly surmised that the child was most likely four to five weeks old since the ultrasound appeared so clearly.

Her doting husband, Foehner, also confirmed the announcement by sharing the same video footage via his Instagram page, praising his spouse for being a great mom. 

GABBY BARRETT’S ACM APPEARANCE SPARKED PREGNANCY RUMORS 

The 57th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Award ceremony saw Barrett co-hosting alongside famous faces like Dolly Parton and Jimmie Allen, making her the youngest host ever, and she looked perfect.

Besides her performance and her role as co-host, Barrett also got nominated for Female Artist of the Year after winning it the previous year.

For the occasion, the singer was dressed in a long, flowing, off-shoulder white gown with a low-cut neckline and a black belt that cinched her waist in the middle and made some wonder what she was trying to prevent people from seeing.

Barrett also shared a photo of herself in a fitted red dress at the ACM on Instagram that revealed her bump to many watchful fans who took to Instagram to reveal that they sighted a baby bump a couple of times during her performance.

However, neither Barrett nor her hubby made any comments to confirm nor deny the rumors until now.

Barrett welcomed her first child, daughter Baylah May Foehner, with her hubby in January 2021, making her just over a year old.

They announced her birth via social media, and in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the pair revealed how excited they were for their family’s “new addition.”

She also revealed that when she discovered she was pregnant in May 2020, she had not been expecting it, which was why her eyes “crossed” when the pregnancy strip displayed two lines.

Gabby Barrett met the man she married on the 16th season of “American Idol” in 2018. After about a year of courtship, the pair decided to take the next step by tying the knot in a ceremony that went down in Garrison, Texas, in front of 100 witnesses.

The wedding was intimate, and they chose to have it in Texas because of Foehner’s love for the place and the woods.

The decoration was done with plum and blush decor, which helped breathe life into the rustic theme they desired. It was a match made in heaven, and Barrett has in the past spoken about how great Foehner is to her.

When they had their first child, she praised him for being patient with her while she suffered from mood swings brought on by pregnancy and even revealed that he would go as far as rubbing her feet “every single night.” If that’s not a sign that they’ll be together for a long time, nothing is.
