‘It’s So Weird’: Fans Slam Kelly Osbourne after She Showed Rare Photo with Baby Son before Easter

The Osbourne family is famous for their hysterical reality TV antics and Hollywood careers. Now, Kelly has finally welcomed her first child. Initially, she was private about her son, but she has recently opened up about him a little more.

Kelly’s son was born earlier this year, and in the days following his birth, she remained tight-lipped about her son other than to say he was healthy and happy. This Easter, she finally shared a photo of him.

While many fans praised the eagerly awaited shot, others were unhappy about her showing her son. Nevertheless, her parents are proud of everything she does and how she parents her child.

Kelly did not have an easy time falling pregnant, and when she finally did, it came with yet more complications. While she thought she could eat anything she wanted when she fell pregnant, doctors told her she had gestational diabetes.

This led to the reality star cutting out all refined sugars and losing ten pounds. Kelly admitted she felt better than she ever had before. The diet allowed her to have more energy and feel healthier.

Kelly’s mom, Sharon, was the first person to talk about the new addition to the family. She revealed in an episode of “The Talk” that she and her husband, Ozzy, had become grandparents for the fifth time.

When asked how Kelly was doing as a new mother, Sharon confirmed she was “so great.” Sharon added that she was proud of her daughter but that Kelly wouldn’t release any photos of her son.

Although Sharon excitedly shared the news of her grandson on national television, Kelly was not happy with her mother. She shared:

“It’s no one’s place but mine to share any information on my baby.”

Fans immediately speculated that the post had been directed at her mother after she shared news about her grandson in such a public way. Kelly confirmed she had not yet been ready to share information about her baby.

Why Did Kelly Osbourne Get Slammed

Since her son’s birth, Kelly has shared many photos that have him in them, but she never shows his face. One such image was in early March this year when Kelly shared a photo of herself and her brother as she held her son.

Kelly and Jack’s faces are easily visible, but only the top of Kelly’s son’s head is shown in the frame. Kelly his face again as he looks away from the camera, and Jack points down at him.

Fans were incensed that Kelly would share a photo with her son if she didn’t show his face in the picture. Another fan commented:

“It’s so weird when people do this … whatever ….”

Another fan asked why she would hide her son’s face as all babies look similar, and if “real celebs” could show their babies’ faces, then so could Kelly. The same fan thought Kelly believed she was better at keeping a secret than anyone else.

Many fans seemed to believe that Kelly’s child was a girl, asking why Kelly would hide “her” face and saying they believed Kelly might be ashamed of her child if she wasn’t willing to share photos.

On Easter, Kelly shared a photo of herself, her son, and the easter bunny standing together. Kelly wore a beautiful floral dress and laughed as the easter bunny waved at the camera. Yet her son’s face was covered by a purple heart.

Fans were again upset that Kelly shared photos of her son but blocked his face from being in the shot. However, this time, Kelly got support from other fans who believed she could do whatever she wanted.

When one fan asked why she would post her son if she were going to cover his face, another responded by saying it was her social media account and her child, which left her to make the decisions.

There was a similar interaction on the post in which one fan asked why Kelly always hid her son’s face, and another said it was because people stole baby pictures, pretending the children were theirs.

Another fan echoed previous sentiments, saying it was Kelly’s account and she could do whatever she felt was right. One fan said:

“I’m sure when Kelly is ready for us to see her son’s face, she will show us all.”

The fan added that they loved the photo and wished Kelly and her family a happy Easter. While Kelly has not revealed the baby’s face, his name has. He is named Sidney, after his father.

How Did Ozzy React to Kelly’s Baby News?

The whole family was excited to learn that Kelly was finally able to fulfill her dream of becoming a mom. Her father was no less enthusiastic than anyone else in the family. In fact, he told everyone Sidney’s gender before Kelly got the chance to.

Kelly admitted that while she was upset, she didn’t get to share her baby’s gender; she couldn’t stay angry because he father was so excited. She said he danced daily about how excited he was and sang a song to accompany it.

Sidney is also the family’s first male grandchild, which excited Ozzy doubly excited. He began planning things to do with the infant long before he was born, showing Ozzy’s joy.

When Kelly entered labor, fans had picked up on clues from her Instagram story. Finally, Ozzy was getting his dream of becoming a grandfather to a little boy, and Kelly was getting her dream of becoming a mother.
