ITV After the Flood viewers were left fuming as they issued a complaint just minutes into the crime drama.
The six-part-series focuses on a small town that has been hit with a dangerous flood, however things take a sinister turn as the natural disaster turns into a murder mystery when a man is found dead in the lift of a car park.
During the first episode viewers saw a dramatic opening as the small town was flooded and everyone was all over the place, jumping and diving.

Later on PC Jo Marshall found a man dead in a lift in an underground car park. Police assume he became trapped in the rising water, but Jo is convinced that it wasn’t an accident and he was in fact murdered.

She slowly starts becoming obsessed with finding out the truth so she decides to start an investigation. Just minutes into the first episode viewers took to social media to share their reaction to the show as they claimed that the opening scene was ‘unrealistic’ and ‘too dramatic’.
