ITV Limitless Win viewers have been ‘angered’ as they’re ‘convinced’ the show provided the incorrect answer to a Monopoly related question.
The ITV game show, hosted by parenting duo Ant McParlin & Declan Donnelly , returned for another series tonight (January 6) and remains the only one of its kind to offer a limitless jackpot.
But viewers were left convinced that the show provided the incorrect answer to one of tonight’s crucial questions after this week’s pair of contestants were asked to guess the exact number of playing pieces, known as tokens, in the classic London version of the board game Monopoly.

The duo incorrectly guessed four, but viewers were left shocked when hosts Ant and Dec revealed that the correct answer was in fact eight and showed an image of the tokens, which included a cat, penguin and rubber duck pieces.
Confused viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to question the answer, convinced that the board game only has six player tokens. But that wasn’t the only problem, as they also claim they’ve never played a game of Monopoly which included the three animal tokens.
One viewer wrote: “Since when has monopoly had a duck, penguin and cat player pieces? #limitlesswin,” and another view said: “I played monopoly religiously in the 70’s and 80’s there were defo only 6 pieces to choose from??? So how come the answer is 8? #LimitlessWin.”
Another confused viewer said: “Why does a quiz show answer get me so angry! Surely the Monopoly piece answer was 6 and there has been so many different ones it shouldn’t have even been a question! Those monopoly pieces weren’t right surely!?” Whilst another viewer was left wondering why some of the infamous Monopoly pieces seemed to be missing from the answer, writing: “Where was the iron? #monopoly #LimitlessWin.”
Since launching in 2022, Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win has been a big hit with viewers and their third series will be looking to turn up the notches a few more with the big money prizes on offer.
Speaking about the new series Ant McPartlin promised “more drama, more tension, more fun, and more wins than ever before…more contestants climb over a million pounds on our ladder than we’ve ever had before. And big wins.” Declan Donnelly added: “Safe to say, it’s a ground-breaking series in more ways than one.”
