Puff Daddy’s mother was born in December 1940. She was married to Melvin Combs, and they welcomed two children, a daughter Keisha Combs and a son, Sean (Puff Daddy), born on November 4, 1969.

Her life took a different turn following her husband’s untimely death in 1972 after being fatally shot in his car. Raising two young children was not easy, but Janice was determined to do all it took to ensure she provided for her kids.
