On a May 2020 episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio nearly hooked up. It was filmed in the fall of 2019, when Farley and her boyfriend, pro wrestler Zack Clayton Carpinello, were on a break. As the “Jersey Shore” family usually does, they were out clubbing in New Orleans for Angelina Pivarnick’s bachelorette party. And as they were out, Farley and Pauly D started getting really cozy with each other on the dance floor. Everyone thought it was a joke at first, but when it was obvious that Farley and Pauly D were actually flirting and vibing, the housemates were fans. The two really only had a good cuddle though, as “Love Island” islanders like to call it. Why? Pauly D has “too much respect for her” to make a move into the non-friend territory.

A lot of it had to do with JWoww’s unknown relationship status with Carpinello at the time. But when Farley told Pivarnick that she was single, she also revealed that there was more to why she didn’t fully hook up with Pauly D. “Me and Pauly had a nice dinner together that night,” she said, explaining the time they were in New York together. “And then we went home together. And he shut the door on me.” Pivarnick remembered how upset JWoww was at the time. “I sure was,” Farley said. “I’ve tried.”
