John Travolta’s Daughter Makes Fans Cry by Dolling up for Parents’ Anniversary: ‘Kelly’s Smiling Down from Heaven’

John Travolta’s second child, Ella Travolta, whom he shares with his late wife, Kelly Preston, melted fans’ hearts in a recent video that showed her all dressed up on her parents’ wedding anniversary.

John posted a video of his only daughter on Instagram ahead of his wedding anniversary with his beloved spouse, Preston. In the clip, Ella sported a floral dress as she took a few steps with her hands in her pockets and smiled at the camera.

“Our baby girl Ella in celebration of Kelly’s and my wedding anniversary – I’m so proud of you!! I know mama would be too!” her famous father captioned the post.

Fans flooded the comments section on Instagram, and some expressed sadness at the occasion while others raved about the couple’s all-grown-up daughter, Ella.

Ella’s parents got married on September 5, 1991. In addition to her, they also welcomed two sons, Jett and Benjamin. Jett sadly died in January 2009 from a seizure. His mother also passed away several years later at age 57 in July 2020 from breast cancer.

Since her death, John has shared memories of her on social media. On the late actress’s birthday in October 2022, her widowed husband paid tribute to her on Instagram, writing, “We love you and miss you, Kelly.”

Since Preston’s passing, John and Ella, who was born on April 3, 2000, in California, have formed a close-knit bond as a father-and-daughter duo. He often shares what they both get up to on social media as they have traveled, danced, and celebrated milestones together.

In a 2019 interview, John expressed that he is in awe of his daughter, whom he is mentoring. “She is her own person. She is gracious, generous, poised, graceful, and gorgeous,” said the proud dad.

The 23-year-old once revealed that she looks up to her father as she carves her own path in show business, pursuing acting and singing careers. Ella said her dad is her “biggest fan” and vice versa. They support each other, and she has learned a lot from him.

The pair have collaborated on several projects, including commercials for the Super Bowl and PlayStation. Ella has also mirrored one of her mom’s memorable campaigns.

She once paid tribute to her “Got Milk?” ad from the ’90s by sporting a plant-based milk mustache for Silk Nextmilk’s play. The ads debuted in February 2023.
