The film, in which he also provided one of the soundtracks, is a period romantic comedy adapted from an 1815 novel by Jane Austen. Johnny plays the character of Mr. Knightley, falls in love, and eventually marries the titular character, Emma, after a series of shortfalls.

Johnny and Minns were both attending the Bedales school and were in their final year. Speaking on the lasting occasion, Johnny recalled:

“I was very shy as a teenager but completely in love with her. There was just something about her that I felt a real connection to.”

Their young love experienced its ups and downs. The couple was in an on-and-off relationship after going through breakups while they were still teenagers and later in their 20s. Despite that, they have continued their love story, which Johnny feels was destined to happen.

At one time, he even followed Minns, interested in theater productions, out to New York City. Currently, the couple and their family reside in East London, where Minns has a garden studio in which she works with clay. She previously worked as a set designer for more than ten years.

Johnny and Minns tied the knot in 2011. Their marriage of over a decade has welcomed three children, a son, Gabriel, and two daughters, Ida and Lorca. Their exact ages are unknown to the public, but Gabriel appears to be the oldest.

Although not a very active social media user, Johnny does not miss many chances to post his adorable bunch. The father of three shares cute photos of his children along with some loving and funny captions, including one showing his two girls smiling. He wrote:

“These girls. I’ll be thinking of them to stop me from poo-ing myself when I go on Lauren Laverne’s breakfast show tomorrow am on BBC6music.”

Half-brother Daniel has been in the television industry for about forty years since making four appearances as Billy in “No Excuses” in 1983. Since then, the Worcestershire-born actor has appeared in over fifty productions ranging from short movies and feature films to television series and voicing video games.

Perhaps the most popular of Johnny’s siblings is BAFTA-nominated Jerome, whose role as Bronn in the hit television series “Game Of Thrones” garnered him notoriety among the show’s fans worldwide. His controversial character and gradual increase in fortune made him a divisive figure in the series in which he appeared in many seasons.
