Jonathan Osteen: What We Know about the Life of Joel Osteen’s Son

Jonathan Osteen is best known for being a member of the Osteen family. However, he also has a career in music as he plays the guitar and sings in his church choir as the group’s lead singer.

On June 28, 2022, Jonathan Osteen married his longtime partner, Sophia Hahn. The news of their wedding surprised some fans and supporters as they did not leak any announcements or information anywhere.

The news of their wedding broke on the internet when Joel Osteen and his wife, Victoria Osteen, took to their Instagram pages to congratulate the newly married couple.

In the Instagram congratulatory post shared by Joel, he said:

“What a beautiful day celebrating our son Jonathan’s marriage to the girl of his dreams, Sophia. We could not be happier! We love you both so much. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Osteen!”

Family, friends, and fans took to the comment section to congratulate and bless the new couple while wishing them a successful and happy life.

JONATHAN OSTEEN IS THE FIRST CHILD BORN TO HIS PARENTS

Joel and Victoria tied the knot in April 1987 but did not welcome their first son Jonathan until April 1995. He is a graduate of the University of Texas and is actively involved in the activities of the Lakewood Church.

However, he is not their only child. The couple welcomed their only daughter, Alexandra, three years after his birth. Like her brother, she graduated from the University of Texas and is a talented singer.

JONATHAN OSTEEN HAS HIS OWN BAND

As a teenager, Jonathan actively participated in Lakewood’s Young Adult ministry. With his passion for music, he joined the worship team, where he sang and played the guitar.

He is also a songwriter and music producer who formed the LYA band with his sister, Louie Garcia, and Abel Orta Jr. They produced their first album, “Live in the Wonderful,” in 2016 and have created several other albums over the years.

When Jonathan is not making music, he loves to hang out at home, spend time with the family, and play with their dogs. He also loves to go to the movies almost once a week.

When it comes to sports, he loves to watch whatever is on, irrespective of the sport. He loves to watch basketball and football during their seasons; these two are his go-to sports to watch.

While talking about his perfect woman in an interview, Jonathan, who prefers a brunette, said she has to be a woman who looks very kind at the first meeting.

When it comes to the kind of music he loves, Jonathan revealed that he has a soft spot for classic 1980s music and listens to Fleetwood Mac and Phil Collins the most. Jonathan said the music from that time resonates with him the most and puts him in a good mood.

HE WANTS TO BECOME THE NEXT GENERATION OF LAKEWOOD CHURCH

Jonathan has been a part of the Lakewood ministry all his life, and as he stepped more into the spotlight, he said:

“I didn’t think this is something that necessarily I would step into. I was open to it, but I don’t know. I mean, I was raised here at Lakewood, and I’ll be here the rest of my life. So, it just naturally started to occur that I got more involved, and here I am today.”

However, Jonathan further stated in an interview that he would be taking it one day at a time as it sounds exciting, and one day he might step into his father’s shoes. Joel’s son is also looking forward to the future while being focused on the present.
